Protected, Loved, and Empowered

Thoughts for the Day, May  23, 2020

Every now and then we need to be reminded that we are protected, loved, and empowered by the One who brought the Universe into existence:

For this is what the Lord says—
he who created the heavens,
    he is God;
he who fashioned and made the earth,
    he founded it;
he did not create it to be empty,
    but formed it to be inhabited—
he says:
“I am the Lord,
    and there is no other. Isa. 45:18

He is our protector in times of need:

You are my hiding place;
    you will protect me from trouble
    and surround me with songs of deliverance. Ps. 32:6

And His love for us—is forever:

Those who trust in the Lord are like Mount Zion,
    which cannot be shaken but endures forever.
 As the mountains surround Jerusalem,
    so the Lord surrounds his people
    both now and forevermore. Ps. 125:1-3

With all of this in mind,  we must ask whom and what shall we fear? Have a blessed day!
